Litter

In November 1987 Ann Turton bravely took on the role of village litter warden, she continues to this day assisted by her apprentice – husband Chris. Taking about 2 ½ hours per week in 2012 they collected 140 sacks of rubbish and filled 16 recycling bins.

By 2014 this had jumped to 231 sacks and 24 bins. Of course, if would be very easy for all of us to do our bit to make their lives much easier
