Copse wall tablet

This wall tablet can be found in the vestry of St Michael’s church. Amongst other acts of charitable giving, it records the bequest by two sisters of various lands of copyhold tenure for the maintenance of The Causeway. This bequest is the forerunner of the current Steventon Causeway Trust.
