Steventon Copse

Steventon Copse was acquired for the village following extensive negotiations between Henry Midwinter and Bob Dunsdon on behalf of the Parish Council and the previous owner Mr Nikkah. The latter was persuaded to give the Copse to the village in 1985 and is now a well-used and appreciated village asset. A small group of enthusiastic villagers meet occasionally to coppice the trees on a seven-year cycle to maintain the area.

It can be accessed via paths from Mill Street or Stocks Lane or by public right of way across the field.
