R Langford Houses

Robert Langford moved to Steventon from the village of Timsbury in Somerset to start a haulage business, based at the newly opened Steventon Station. Cottages on the High Street and Little Green can be seen showing his initials and/or references to his home village. He lived at Timsbury Villa in the High Street that became the Timsbury House Hotel.
