STEVENTON PANTO - It’s our 40th Anniversary!
Celebrating 40 years of Panto!
Aladdin was the first Steventon panto in 1981 and a new production has since taken place every two years with few exceptions.
Apart from entertaining the residents of Steventon the panto’s main purpose has been to raise money for the NSPCC.
Jean Knibs wrote the first production of Aladdin, it was directed by Bill Hancock and there were three performances. Despite a severe snowstorm we managed to raise the princely sum of £250 which has now risen to over £5,000 for each production
